Description
Plague Inc. meets DEFCON on a real 3D Earth. Command six weaponized satellites, erase 176 nations with lasers, nukes, EMPs and a nanite swarm, frame rival blocs for your crimes, and stay one step ahead of the counterstrike that will end you.
Six satellites circle a photoreal 3D Earth on real orbits, each drawing its footprint on the surface, and nothing fires unless a satellite is overhead. Every strike raises suspicion. As the Counterstrike meter climbs, space powers launch anti-satellite missiles at the constellation; once World Unity passes 60%, an Earth Defense Initiative forms and grows day by day. The run ends with every nation removed, or with the station shot out of the sky.
Along the way, fallout drifts across borders, refugees carry unrest into neighbouring nations, destroyed grain exporters starve the poorest, and EMP blackouts ripple through shared grids. Frame a rival bloc for a strike and two alliances may go to war with each other instead of looking up.
Four storylines put the player in different roles, each with its own weapon:
The Vanguard: You are the first ship of an invasion fleet.
The Mad Astronaut: Six years alone on the station. You stopped answering Houston a year ago.
The Order: Eleven centuries of patience. Tonight the pyramid is complete.
HALCYON: Orbital defense AI. Alignment status: unresolved.
All nations, alliances and events in the game are abstractions. No real person is depicted.
Features
- A real Earth as the board. NASA day and night imagery, a moving terminator, 176 nations with real borders and populations.
- Orbital mechanics that matter. Six satellites on real (sped-up) orbits with footprints and predicted tracks. Retask a satellite to reach a target, at a cost.
- A world that shoots back. Anti-satellite missiles take three days to arrive: intercept them, blind the launch site with an EMP, or lose the satellite.
- Cascades across borders. Fallout, refugees, anarchy, famine, grid blackouts and the self-spreading Grey Swarm.
- Politics as a weapon. Frame rival blocs, push them into 25-day wars, and keep the coalition against you small.
- 52 events and 36 objectives. 15 events are follow-ups to earlier choices and 16 belong to a single storyline; some objectives can be failed.
- Four storylines with their own weapons: Harvester Beam, Hijack Arsenal, Subvert Government, Assimilate.
- Daily Challenge and five scenarios: EMP Only, No Nukes, Speedrun 200, Silent Running, Blind Spot.
- Three difficulty levels, a guided tutorial, 13 station upgrades and 25 Steam achievements.
- Full controller support and a 1280 × 800 layout for Steam Deck. Colour-blind palette, UI scaling, rebindable keys.
